About Us

The picture below is a typical live recording setup for a two-track Digital Audio Tape session.

A single Neumann stereo microphone allows for discreet placement of equipment, essential for a fine balance between the aesthetics of your concert and the highest quality recorded sound. More elaborate setups, which include microphone array's (pictured) and multi-track digital machines, are perfect for larger ensembles. This setup also works well for programs that include soloists with ensembles or any project that requires a very fine-tuned balance of the acoustic properties in that location. Depending on the type of stage in the venue, it is at times possible to suspend microphones from above.

We are familiar with many locations in the Charlotte area, but we can investigate any location and consult to get the best results possible for your project.
